"The Cold Weather Bio-Fuel Tree"
Planting Aspects:
• Yellow-Horn delivers higher yields when 14-12-10 fertilizer is applied during blooming and fruiting. (Adequate water during these periods is important).
• Yellow Horn must have cold weather, Absisic acid in the tree causes the tree to go dorment in cold weather, Cold weather must take place for Yellow Horn to grow. This is a cold weather tree
• Pruning begins when a hedgerow is required for harvesting.
• Over-the-row mechanical harvesting is utilized.
